Anatole Fistoulari (1907 - 1995) was a Ukrainian conductor, and made his conducting debut at the age of 7, with Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.6. He was particularly known for his ballet conducting.

Anatole Fistoulari’s early Decca LP of the Nutcracker is unusual in allowing us to hear not just the well-known Nutcracker Suite, but also a second Suite selected from the ballet by Fistoulari.
